Assurance Partner
Engagement Quality Review Partner
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate various planning phases of engagements and ensure work is on schedule
- Generate budgets
- Maintain profitable realization rates
- Review and evaluate work papers, and determine compliance with professional standards and firm policy
- Review reports and financial statements and other regulatory filings
- Review with the engagement partner significant findings that raise questions involving auditing standards and firm policy
- Manage risk and ensure quality control procedures are being executed
- Be involved in practice development and supervision of multiple engagements
- Assume responsibility for billing and collections when circumstances permit
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with client management
- Provide on-the-job training to subordinates
Additional Responsibilities:
- Generate new business annually from new and existing clients.
- Represent the Firm by presenting on areas of expertise at 3rd party events
- Effectively manage employee and client expectations
- Complete performance evaluations constructively and timely, and also provide ongoing performance feedback to employees
- Maintain required annual CPEs
- Participate in firm-sponsored activities

Qualifications:
- BBA/BS/MS in Accounting
- Must be a licensed USCPA
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to articulately communicate professional/technical knowledge
- Effective business advisory skills
- Decisively identify and execute solutions to problems
- Thorough understanding of complex technical issues
- Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy
- Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), PCAOB audit standards/SEC reporting requirements / Tax law knowledge

Responsibilities:
- Perform audit engagement quality review and sign off as Engagement Quality Concurrent Reviewer (EQCR) or EQCR assistant for US publicly traded companies and for companies going through Initial Public Offering process.
- Assist with other firm quality control system functions including internal/external inspections, audit methodology update, technical accounting update, and firm technical training.
Qualifications:
- BBA/BS/MS in Accounting
- Must have an active US CPA license with no previous records of SEC or PCAOB sanctions
- 15+ years of relevant auditing and accounting experience.
- Big Four audit firm experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles/ and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards.
- Strong ability to articulate complex accounting and auditing technical issues
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and IPO process
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards
