About Tina
Tina Cheng has over 20 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and supervision.
Before joining MarcumAsia, Ms. Cheng worked at three major U.S. accounting firms, including KPMG. She also worked in the audit department of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). She provided training for the SEC as a technical director at Plante Moran LLP on issues including internal process design and supervision.
Ms. Cheng attaches great importance to high-quality service delivery. She establishes, implements, and maintains the firm’s audit service policies and procedures and ensures the firm’s compliance with the relevant regulations of regulatory agencies. She guides the firm’s professionals on accounting and auditing techniques. Ms. Cheng serves as the firm’s quality control representative to review the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)-related audit services.
As a Chinese-American, Ms. Cheng’s Chinese cultural background allows her to understand the characteristics of Chinese enterprises quickly. At the same time, her detailed experience with PCAOB supervision enables her to provide unique insights and keen insight into auditing corporate internal control systems (ICFR).
